Ciao! Mi chiamo Elisa.

I’ve lived in and around San Francisco for over a decade, and if you’re wondering about the accent—that’s from having grown up in Cambridge, UK. But (plot twist!), I’m actually Italian—I was born in Rome and am a native Italian speaker. I’ve been making things for as long as I remember so it’s only natural that I love working as a designer and making art, food and a little music in my free time.

I value—

Being stretched

I’m always working on a personal challenge, whether that’s figuring out how to make a large tapestry (see: Doing it right) or learning an instrument. For a while I was learning the guitar; my seasonal winter hobby has become ceramics, and lately I’ve thrown myself into volunteering throughout SF.

Embracing discomfort

I like to do things that make me slightly nervous. For example, I chose to move in to a community house of 17 people where I knew I would need to navigate a multitude of relationships with different personality types. PS, I kept us all well fed by developing an affordable, nutritious shared food program.

Doing it right

When I do something, I go all in and do the best I can. A couple of years ago, I really wanted a woven tapestry but wasn’t willing to spend upwards of $2K (!) to buy one—so, I decided to make it myself. I made a loom out of 1x4’s, picked up wool at a local yarn store, and got to work. It ended up taking over a year to finish, and I don’t regret it!

I work with brands and individuals who share my attitudes around—

✍️ Getting stuff done

I know things can get chaotic and I love to dive right in. I balance fast-paced work with high standards.

🤝 Being generous

I believe in building a more sustainable, equitable society, and treating others with kindness and humility.

👋 Showing up

I have your back. I will make sure you have what you need to succeed, and if I don’t know something, I will figure it out!
